Jazz for Kids

About

Three jazzmen are aimed at children and all those who love jazz. They decided to improvise from the only repertoire of “standards » that all children know: nursery rhymes. They explore these treasures and make them their playground, while ensuring respect for melodies and stimulating ears, large and small.

Manu Hermia and her two musical companions, three confirmed and recognized musicians, plunge us into the heart of rhymes and help us to grasp two very distinct dimensions: melody and harmony through the play of delicate and tasty sound experiments. We discover a music with abundant possibilities, a sweet madness, within a musical poetic that liberates the spirit and cultivates the soul of the little ones.

A generous jazz and full of good energies to make understand, and especially to taste, the children – but also the greatest ones – how jazz transforms, by the improvisation, a simple melody in small musical jewel. IMPORTANT NOTE: playing the most famous french nursery rhymes, and making many vocal references to them, this project has only sens to be exported for french speaking audiences.
